Dallas – Local Attractions
What can be more thrilling than watching the horses as they come down the home stretch, the announcer calling out every move and the crowds cheering. Spend the day at Lone Star Park just outside of Dallas.
Zero Gravity, extreme rides for extreme family fun. This park’s mission was to become the most extreme amusement park in the world and I think they have done it. Huge free falls, unforgettable roller coasters, bungee jumping, they have the most daring rides around. They boast a perfect safety record which makes the mom in me feel better. In Texas, they say go big or go home and at Zero Gravity they didn’t go home.
When visiting the Dallas World Aquarium it will be like you are walking through an actual rain forest, you may see toucans flying overhead, sloths lounging in the trees, giant river otters, and crocodiles swimming in the river. Enjoy the sereneness that surrounds you. As you enter the aquarium you will see Japanese crab, jellyfish, black-footed and blue penguins, as well as sharks and sawfish.
