With temperatures in the low 60s and over 300 days of sunshine, the weather is prime for camping, five-start dining, world-class shows, endless slot machines, and an early afternoon tennis match or two. The options are up to you.

Where to stay:

Check out the app The Dyrt. They have the most campgrounds in a camping app and make it easy for you to find what you’re looking for.

So grab your San Francisco RV rental and get exploring.

San Francisco

Starting the trip in San Francisco gives you the opportunity to bask in the city lights, enjoy some music, see the big sights like Alcatraz, Fisherman’s Wharf, ride a trolley car and check out the Golden Gate Park and the Golden Gate Bridge.

Napa Valley

After dancing the night away in San Fran, head over to Napa Valley and taste the exquisite wine of the valley. And the best part is, you won’t have to go far when you’re in need of a nap because you have your San Francisco RV rental. If you’re looking to stretch your legs, the golf courses are a fun activity. These go great with the local distilleries and craft breweries as well.

Fort Bragg

Once you’ve had your taste of Napa, head down for some real relaxation and check out Glass Beach in Fort Bragg. If you’re up for a history lesson the Sea Glass Museum is a stop not to be missed. And if you’re looking to switch from tasting wine to smelling flowers, the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens are sure to please.

Muir Woods

After all of the relaxation and sightseeing, it’s time to get some exercise. So head out to the Redwoods and stretch your neck to check out some seriously tall trees and immerse yourself in nature for a few days. It’s amazing where you can go in your San Francisco RV rental.

How to Save when Booking an RV

Thursday, October 10th, 2019

Keeping costs down during your vacation can be important. We’ve put together some great cost-saving tips to make your next road trip one for the books. Get a discount RV rental because renting an RV doesn’t have to break the bank.

When to book:
Most special’s for discount RV’s happen in the first few months of the year. Between January and March are the best times to book one-way rentals and get the best early booking discounts.

When to travel:
High season starts from about mid-June to mid-September. If you can avoid traveling during this time you can get a cheaper RV rental.

Size of RV:
When choosing which RV to book consider traveling in a smaller RV. Most of your time will be spent driving or exploring the area you are visiting, not sitting in the RV. A smaller RV will also save you gas. Check out some tips for maximizing RV gas mileage.

Bring your own meals:
Most RV’s come equipped with a kitchen. Bring your own meals to cook so you save money on eating at restaurants. Plus we always think that camp food is some of the best food out there.

Research parks or campgrounds:
It’s always a great idea to research the parks and campgrounds you plan to attend. Read reviews, check on costs, and how far the experiences you want to see are from where you will be parking. A little pre-planning goes a long way when you are trying to budget your RV rental road trip.

And last but not least. Remember to have fun! Enjoy the sights, experience the most, and the cost of your RV will feel discounted because it’ll be worth the experience.
