Fly into DFW to start your RV Road-Trip

When you fly long haul to start an RV road-trip of amazing America, its compulsory to have a night’s sleep before you pick up your vehicle. Make the most of this and fly into a city that gives you not only great access to some of the countries best scenery but also gives you plenty of things to do that start your trip off as you intend to continue!

Dallas Fort Worth Airport is a gem, average clearance time for immigration is 18 minutes. You can be in your hotel within an hour. Beat that in any other major airport.

The triangle of Fort Worth, Dallas and Grapevine is a terrific introduction to Texas. We recommend basing yourself in Grapevine, it’s only 10 minutes from DFW and there is a complimentary shuttle to Grapevine hotels. Grapevine is like the bride to the two bridesmaids of Dallas and Fort Worth. Grapevines historic main street is vintage Texas, with 20 hotels to choose from you can enjoy small town charm, with big town access.

  • Grapevine has loads of festivals and not all related to grapes, if you are in the area in December you will be delightfully surprised with the Christmas festival. But regardless of when you are there, you can enjoy live music in Main Street every Friday night.
